Tyrrell on 28 Jun 1941 in Queens, NY Obituary Robert Tyrrell BERKELEY TWP. - Robert W. Tyrrell, 70, died Tuesday at Community Memorial Hospital in Toms River after a long illness. He was born in the Bronx, N.Y. and lived in Flanders for many years before moving to the Bayville section of the Township three years ago. Mr. Tyrrell was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a cost engineer at Foster Wheeler Corp.'s Fire Heater Division, Livingston where he worked for 35 years before he retired in 1981. He was a former member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Succasunna, and was an avid writer of poetry. Surviving are a son Robert J., with whom he lived; two daughters Johanna Barbieri, Connecticut, and Margaret Alice DeThomas, Hackettstown; two sisters, Frances Ciavolino, Freehold, and Dolores Maloney, Flanders; and five grandchildren.
